NEIMA BRIGGS
YALE MEDICAL SCHOOOLNeima Briggs is a physician-scientist and clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine (Infectious Diseases) and Department of Immunobiology at Yale University. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Professor Joseph Craft at Yale studying the mechanisms of acquired immunity to helminthic infections. His lab continues to work understanding host response to parasitic infections, with a focus on vaccine and diagnsotic development. He collaborates closely with the Craft Lab at Yale, multiple investigators at the Texas Children's Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, and the Fujiwara/Bueno Lab at the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
